Grocery Store Database
Designed a brand new Access application for a grocery store chain to import and compare prices from competitors to optimize profitability
Forms allowed users to import prices and print reports for each product showing the lowest competitor price
Legacy Database Cleanup
Re-organized the data tables to make the application more efficient. Added a more modern look to forms and reports and made the app more user friendly.
Industrial company had an older Access 1997 database that needed an update. The data had to be repaired and organized. The app had an outdated interface that needed to be modernized.
Jewelry Store Images
A jewelry re-seller used an Access database to keep track of their inventory, purchases and sales but it was running very slow and the database was getting too large to be functional.
Re-designed the app to use links to the image files instead of attaching them to the database file. The database was now much slimmer and worked faster.
